Bokal Construction was chosen as the general contractor for The Standard St. Louis, a five-story, luxury apartment complex located just two blocks away from the Saint Louis University Campus.
BoKal was founded on the belief that a general contracting firm can produce a quality product time after time. This belief was not lost on The Standard. Mid-way through construction, the owner and the city shifted gears with the building design of The Standard which caused delays. Even with the requested changes and a 3-month project delay at the start, we’re very proud to announce that this beautiful apartment complex was completed before deadline and on budget by our team at Bokal Construction.
The Gas House (top right) – the longtime historic car wash on Forest Park Avenue – was the business that previously occupied this space but is now replaced by this nearly two-acre site designed for student living.
